The Caufield House

The Caufield House is located on Main Street in Oregon City, Oregon.

Being in the area for some business, I stopped in for a quick bite around lunchtime. Along with a full espresso bar, Caufield House has burritos and quiche at breakfast time, and sandwiches and salads at lunch.

Although I came in around noon, I spotted one last Chorizo Burrito ($9.95) under the heat lamp and nabbed it for science. Breakfast burritos, aside from choice of bacon, sausage, ham, chorizo, or veggie offering, have eggs, cheese, potatoes, pico de gallo, and peppers.

Overall, it was a good burrito. Quite hefty with generous amounts of cheese, potato, and chorizo inside. Potatoes were perfectly cooked through, and a tasty burrito overall. It's normally made to order, but even when sitting under a heat lamp for an unknown period of time, it remained a good buy. I'm glad I chose an item that can hold up well over a period of time.

At this time, this part of Oregon City isn't actually bustling with a bunch of food options, so people working around the Clackamas County Courthouse will probably flock here for a quick bite to eat before returning to work.

Caufield House is a decent spot for what it's worth. I'd head back again if I'm in the area. 7/10
