Chris opened his food cart over a year ago and had also previously been located on NE MLK. The menu's focus is stuffed burgers - or the Juicy Lucy (if you're from Minnesota). Six or so different options, which all come with fries. There may also be rotating specials on the menu.
I didn't have to think twice before ordering one of the possible specials.
The Honey Habanero Hellraiser ($11) features a 1/3 lb patty stuffed with prosciutto and Havarti, smothered in Old 8 Sauce Company's Honey Habanero Hellraiser sauce, and topped with arugula, tomato, red onion, pickle, and chimichurri spread.
Very good bun, fluffy and soft, yet toasted lightly. On my burger, the patty was cooked through to about well, yet stayed juicy. Initially, I thought the patty was slightly small proportionally, but my perception may have been skewed by the mound of healthy vegetables. Chimichurri in a burger is uncommon (at least to me), but it fit in very nicely here. Good fries, steak cut, well seasoned with a creamy dipping sauce on the side.
Other tempting burgers include the Calzone ($9; stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella, and marinara) and the Lamb of Gouda ($10; lamb burger stuffed with smoked gouda).
Also, Chris' friend runs Old 8 Sauce Company. Bottles can be purchased online or bought at the cart for $7 each. Check both of these places out! 8/10
