Pints Brewing

Pints Brewing is located near the corner of NW Flanders and NW 5th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.

This place has the small dive bar feel to it. Really feels like a hole-in-the-wall spot, especially when placed in the Old Town/Chinatown area.

Pints has a menu of appetizers, burgers, salads, and sandwiches. They also have about 10 different beers to choose from. The Seismic IPA is their hoppiest beer, clocking in at 75 IBUs and 6.2% ABV. It's a solid offering, refreshing with a good bitterness.

The panda is finding yet more spots in and around Portland to get his poutine fix. The Smoked Pork Poutine ($5 small / $9 large) really stands out for that awesome, smoky pulled pork. Excellent fries. I'm not sure if they use actual curds; the cheese was already significantly melted on there by the time it got to the table. From a flavor standpoint, I really enjoyed it. Protein fix with my beer.

The Reuben sandwich ($10) is also a wonderful option. Sauerkraut is made in house, joined by corned beef and Swiss on rye. Great toasting on the bread. You can get fries or a salad with the sandwich.

You can park on the street or find a parking lot. It's probably not the best area to walk around when alone at night.

Panda checks another brewpub off the list. Another fine choice. 7.75/10
