Frontier Public House is located on NE Hazel Dell Avenue, near the Main Street cutoff, in Vancouver, Washington.
Usually, Frontier Public House's menu focuses on Southern-inspired dishes, so options like Po'Boys and New Orleans BBQ Shrimp can be found on the menu. However, on weekends, there's a special brunch menu that may have more traditional options.
So because panda logic usually goes against said logic, I asked Kristina behind the counter what were the more popular brunch choices. One of them was the Mexican Chorizo and Eggs ($9). The sausage is scrambled with three eggs, cilantro, and onions. It's topped with cotija cheese and avocado, and served with three corn tortillas.
And a nice choice it was. Good sausage, warm tortillas, reasonable price.
Hot sauce choices here include Tabasco, Cholula, Tapatio, or Secret Aardvark habanero sauce. And of course, I also got some coffee. Bottomless coffee here is $3.50.
My order came out lightning fast, even with a few other patrons in the building.
Frontier Public House has a full bar, with usual Happy Hour between 3-6 PM. Another good place for food in Vancouver! 7.5/10
