With summer in full swing, a juice and smoothie truck will be getting even more love. That's the menu here, in a nutshell. You can add extra hemp protein to your smoothies for $1.50 more. With the 16 oz cups just $1 more than the 12 oz counterpart, it's usually best to grab the larger size.
I ordered the 16 oz. Mr. Big Stuff smoothie ($7.50): strawberries, bananas, peanut butter, almond milk, and sea salt. I added extra hemp protein to mine for $1.50 more.
This one is definitely peanut butter-heavy, and the unflavored protein adds extra thickness.You'll still get some strawberry crunch and lumps of banana, just to let you know they are there. Overall, it's a pricey smoothie, but a good one.
As far as juices go, the Funkytown (carrot, orange, beet, lemon, and ginger) sounds very refreshing. Of course, you can make your own as well.
