Coo Coo Coffee

(Hey everyone! Happy Holidays to all!)

Coo Coo Coffee is located on Davie Street in Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Basically a typical cafe. Small space with a few tables. Full espresso bar and a few grilled sandwiches, either as English muffin sandwiches or paninis.

On Sundays, a regular latte runs at a discounted price. 12 oz for $3, and a 16 oz option for $4.

The panda was adventurous and tried the Salty Caramel Latte (12 oz for $4.50), made with cream, butter, sugar, and pink Himalayan salt. Latte was nicely made. A rich, creamy experience. The salt sank to the bottom of the drink, so the last few sips were noticeably saltier. The panda needs to stir the drink better.

You can customize the sweetness of your drink here, a nice added touch.

The Spicy Chorizo sandwich ($3.75) has an over-hard egg, havarti, chorizo, roasted peppers, jalapenos, and cayenne. A small, warm sandwich. Good crunch after getting some time in the panini press. Flavors were decent, but no actual heat detected. More cayenne than jalapeno flavor.

If anything, it's a good snack option to get you through part of the morning. I saw a guy get four sandwiches for takeout while he was there. Smart man needs his fuel.

Admittedly, it may not be my first choice to get some breakfast, but it's still a good place overall if you're seeking espresso, chai, and/or a sandwich. 6.75/10
