Scottie's Pizza Parlor is located on SE Division in Portland, Oregon.
Walking down SE Division, I spotted this pizza place, which I had heard includes New Mexico green chile as a possible pizza topping. And sure enough, that was confirmed when I saw the menu. In all likelihood, you'd have to make your own 18" pizza in order to get it, but I assume there's no harm in asking for some green chile for a ready-made slice.
As I usually do with pizza joints, I got a slice of their Margherita pizza ($3): fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato sauce, olive oil, and seas salt. It's $22 if you want a whole pie of this.
After a minute or so in the oven to warm up, my slice was ready. A solid, delicious pizza. Very good crust and gooey cheese.
The menu reserves one rotating special. For example, how about a pizza with cauliflower on it?
It's a rather small place and is basically your hole-in-the-wall establishment that may get lost among the more well-known pizza options in the city (i.e. Apizza Scholls and Ken's Artisan Pizza). Still, Scottie's seems worth your while to check out if you're in the area. 8/10
