When I saw the rolled ice cream options on the menu, I knew I had to try this place for science. Of all places, I had my first rolled ice cream experience in Arizona, then wanted more ever since.
I asked the cashier about the popular flavors, and Cookies & Cream is by far the most popular.
Since I'm a fan of fruity flavors, I went with the Bana Berry (around $6.50). It looks like a strawberry ice cream blend, with frozen banana and strawberry mixed into the ice cream itself. Around 4-5 rolls of ice cream per serving, then topped with fresh sliced banana, one fresh strawberry, whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate sauce.
The anti-griddle is near the cash register, so you'll be able to see the ice cream made and rolled as you wait.
Huge recommend here. Creamy ice cream, with the mashed frozen fruit blending in wonderfully (no large frozen fruit chunks here). Fresh fruit on top keeps that fruit theme consistent. If anything, I'd have strawberry sauce - or any other type of berry sauce - drizzled on top instead.
When stopping in around 11:30 AM on a Saturday, there was no line. But maybe less than an hour later, several groups - mostly young families - stopped in for their post-lunch dessert. There's also various merchandise for sale along the left-side shelves.
As of this blog post, S7 Icy Bubble is open daily from 10:30 AM to 9 PM. And it's probably not a bad choice to get dessert before your main meal. 8.25/10
