Casamigos

Casamigos is located on River Road N in Keizer, Oregon.

My ongoing adventures for delicious Mexican food took me to Keizer. I still have friends in the area, so it's good to return once in a while.

I got here just after 11 AM on a Sunday, just after Casamigos opened for the day.

As usual at many Mexican restaurants, free chips, salsa, and refried beans. Mild salsa here, but all delicious. Unfortunately, no real spicy salsa available this time.

Alcohol thirty always reigns supreme. My friend got her Bloody Mary, while I got the Casamigos Margarita. Figured if the place puts its name on the drink, you gotta get it.

Delicious margarita here with a good kick of alcohol. It's made from scratch with agave nectar, fresh lemon juice, and Casamigos añejo (aged) tequila. To qualify as añejo, it must be aged between 1-3 years in oak barrels.

The Pollo a la Diabla caught my eye coming in the restaurant, and I had to get it. Basically chicken, mushrooms, garlic, and onions in a spicy sauce. The dish comes with beans and rice.

The panda naturally asked for this one extra spicy, and the chef delivered. Lovely smoky flavor. Hearty and delicious. I was sweating bullets eating this one, but it hurt so good.

Additionally, you'll get your choice of corn or flour tortillas. I asked for corn, but the server brought out flour tortillas by mistake. Didn't matter to me, as they were perfectly warmed and also awesome.

Wonderful service here, and while the prices can look a bit steep, the generous portions will ensure you leave fluffier than when you first arrived. The patrons slowly started filing in for the lunch hour while we dined and more arrived just as we left.

Casamigos is another elite spot for delicious (and spicy) Mexican dishes! 9.25/10
