R&R Seafood Bar

R&R Seafood Bar is located in the BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (on Friendship Road) in Baltimore, Maryland. You can find R&R Seafood Bar just past security checkpoint near the D and E gate connector.

My last food spot on the east coast was naturally at the airport. Mom and I had maybe three hours to kill, so we spent that time doing some last-minute shopping for souvenirs and getting food.

The entire time I was in Maryland, I didn't have any crabcakes. Until R&R.

R&R had O'Brycki's famous crabcakes, which I had also heard of from Man v. Food, but simply had no time to go to the actual restaurant. I had to get my crabcake fix before I left Baltimore. It's one crabcake for $19, but there's a ton of real crab meat in there. Jumbo lump crab with smaller pieces of crab in there as filler. Crispy golden brown on the outside and juicy on the inside.

The order came with one side dish. Being a healthy panda for a change - since I had my gluttony fix the previous six days of the trip - I got a small Caesar salad with the crabcake.

The crabcake goes wonderfully with O'Brycki's secret seasoning. It's so secret, the ingredient list literally says salt and other spices.

The beer selection here is very limited, and is probably my one drawback of this spot. But BWI airport has other places to get your beer fix.

If you want one last taste of Maryland, R&R Seafood Bar is a great place to stop at. 8/10
