Rally Pizza

Rally Pizza is located in The Mill (a strip mall) on E Mill Plain Blvd in Vancouver, Washington.

Around the 9000 block of Mill Plain sits this pizza spot in a strip mall. I don't get to this part of Vancouver often, so when out for a drive one day, I stopped here on a whim.

Rally Pizza serves Neapolitan-style 12" pizzas, frozen custard, salads, and various appetizers.

The owners (Alan and Shan) lived in the Midwest for several years before returning to the Portland area. Shan handles the frozen custard dishes, while Alan focuses on the pizza. Alan also was part of the crew who started Ken's Artisan Pizza in Portland (a very well-known pizza spot here).

As usual for pizza, I ordered the Margherita pie ($15): fresh mozzarella, tomato sauce, and basil. A simple and well-executed pizza. Lovely crunch and chew on the crust.

There are a lot of frozen custard options on the menu as well, which include concretes (frozen custard blended with other desserts) and sundaes. The Lemon Snap concrete ($7) sounds amazing to me: Vanilla bean frozen custard blended with creamy lemon curd and gingersnaps.

There is a full bar that includes draft beers and numerous wines for sale.

Rally Pizza has rotating seasonal options, so there's seemingly always something different to get the next time you visit.

Happy Hour is from 2-5 PM daily and all day on Monday.

Check out Rally Pizza in Vancouver! 8/10
