Portland Food Pod Closures (2014)

(UPDATE 9/21/14: CARTOPIA IS STAYING OPEN! On September 17, 2014, news broke that all cart owners in the pod were given an option to renew their leases for 2 more years! Yay!)

(UPDATE 7/7/14: Some good news to report for food cart lovers! It appears that the Good Food Here pod will NOT be closing after all.)

Food Carts Portland reported earlier this month that four Portland food pods would be closing by the end of Summer 2014, leaving some 25 food carts scrambling to find a new home.

Cultured Caveman Kickstarter Party! (5/31/14)

Earlier this year, Heather and Joe launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a Cultured Caveman restaurant in North Portland, a welcome addition to their three food carts spaced throughout Portland (downtown on SW 3rd and Stark; NE 15th and Alberta; and SE 41st and Hawthorne). After a successful Kickstarter, Heather and Joe opted for two parties, and anyone contributing $50 or more to the Kickstarter could attend one of the two.
