Tom n Toms Coffee

Tom n Toms Coffee is a business based in South Korea and has several locations spanning seven countries. I spotted a few of them in Koreatown (Los Angeles, California).

Think of Tom n Toms as a Korean version of Starbucks, right down to the logo design (save for the color). My friend knows that I love coffee, so he really wanted me to stop here. A bunch of people still getting their caffeine fix in the afternoon is always a win in my book.

Not a great shot of the menu, oh well...
Instead of getting a small black coffee, my friend suggested that I try the Caramel Macchiato ($3.55). Awesome presentation, good execution. It tasted good, but again, for whatever reason, I'm not as enthusiastic about sugared-up drinks as I am about just getting a direct caffeinated coffee boost. That's just me, though.

The "Tomnccino" drinks are obviously this place's version of the cappuccino. That might be an option for me next time. I saw some options that incorporate green tea. Healthy! Of course, Tom n Toms also offers baked goods in savory or sweet form.

This visit was more a pit stop than anything else. I probably bleed caffeine by now anyway. I'll have to come back and try some other items. 6.5/10
