(I will not officially rate Yelp Elite events on this blog)
On November 19, 2011, I attended my first Yelp Elite function at Wafu, a Japanese (ramen) restaurant on SE Division in Portland, Oregon. I'd guess about 100 people attended the event, which included fellow elite members and their guests. Personally, I had never talked with so many foodies in one place at one time.
Chef Trent Pearce and his staff whipped up some appetizers: edamame, fried rice, and eggplant. Ninkasi beers were available, along with beverages from Deco Distilling Rum. A great night overall!
