Red Mill Burgers

Red Mill Burgers, located in Seattle, WA, was featured on the first season of Man v. Food. A friend and I were headed to Qwest Field to watch college football (University of Hawaii played Washington State), and I suggested that we hit up Red Mill for some pre-game grub.

I ordered the Verde Burger and some onion rings. I forgot to take my camera inside that day, but here are some pictures courtesy of the Internet:

The onion rings were very good. They were crunchy and flavorful, not greasy and gross.

The burger was also quite good. The Anaheim pepper was not spicy for me, but it did give a different dimension of flavor to the burger. The Kaiser bun is a wonderful choice, giving off a combination of crusty, chewy, and crumbly experiences. Finally, the Mill Sauce brings everything together very well.

There is a reason why Red Mill Burgers is so popular. It may be considered fast food to a lot of people, but man, they do burgers, fries, and onion rings damn well. The Travel Channel picked a heck of a place to highlight on Man v. Food, and I'm glad I got to experience some of Red Mill's finest offerings. The only thing for me is I am quite the health nut, and burgers, fries, and onion rings aren't necessarily at the top of my list of places to return to. Regardless, it's as solid a rating from me as a burger place may get. 6.75/10
