Blarney Pub & Grill, located in Minneapolis, MN, is basically an Irish-themed bar serving up typical bar offerings. They offer a nice selection of alcohol choices and have several televisions to watch a good sports game (Twins and Timberwolves, anyone?).
After a bit of deliberation, I ordered their chili and a "Limerick Wrap" (grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, shredded romaine, and diced tomato):

The food was edible, yes, but man, I wold go elsewhere in a heartbeat. I was also better off asking for no sour cream in my chili (I don't really eat sour cream unless it's sour cream & onion potato chips). The wrap looked like something I could make if I was half-drunk and wearing a lampshade. I'll admit it was at least cut well (better than me attempting it half-drunk), but the chips probably came from a large Costco-sized bag. I'd see better-tasting (and fresher) food at stadiums than this stuff.
This place really felt like an abomination: (1) not very many people there despite it being a Friday night, and (2) the food was lackluster. At least the place gets *some* points for looking like a bar. A mostly empty bar, but still a bar.
Blarney Pub & Grill may be an ideal place for college students (the University of Minnesota is not very far away from this place). However, if you are like me (wanting good food and not caring for nightlife or bars), stay away. Oh wait, I didn't see any U of M students there (other than my two friends). Oops, that takes care of that.
